We welcome payments in both Guyanese Dollars (GYD) and US Dollars (USD), including cash transactions. Additionally, we accept credit card payments from all major providers, excluding American Express. Please note that a 4.35% service charge applies to all credit card transactions. For your convenience, we also facilitate payments through local and international bank transfers.

DAY TRIPS

Any cancellation by the customers must be made in writing and acknowledged by Evergreen Adventures Inc. The date on which the correspondence is received will determine the loss of any monies applicable.

Customers who cancel 0-72 hours from their travel due date are not entitled to a refund.

Customers who cancel 3-6 days before their travel date are entitled to a 50% refund.

Customers who cancel 7 or more days before their travel date are entitled to a 100% refund.

In cases where “force majeure” is involved and a trip must be cancelled or changed, Evergreen Adventures Inc. will attempt, at our sole discretion to refund payment, where possible depending on circumstances and availability of refund from local service suppliers. Any losses in such cases can be claimed on personal travel insurance.

 

FOR PACKAGED TOUR

Any cancellation before 30 days of the start date of the trip would incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the total value.

Any cancellation from 30-10 days prior to the start date of the trip would incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total value.

Any cancellation less than 10 days of the start date of the trip would incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total value.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Clients travelling with Evergreen Adventures are made aware of any risks related to participating in activities on tour and the availability, or lack, of medical and evacuation services, especially when travelling in remote areas, hence participate at their own risk. Although safety is Evergreen’s primary priority no responsibility will be taken for any accident, injury, loss, misfortune or death while on any trip organized and/ or coordinated by Evergreen Adventures. As such Evergreen, being an Inbound Tour Operator, will use the services of transport and accommodation providers. In cases where the contracted 3rd party fails to provide the agreed services Evergreen Adventures will do everything possible to organize an alternate to fill this part of the tour. However, any losses in such cases can be claimed on personal travel insurance, but Evergreen cannot be held accountable, responsible or liable for any associated expenses or damages of any kind caused by weather, strikes, hostilities, bankruptcy, war, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes.

In order to confirm a trip we would require a deposit of 50% of the total value of the trip, with the balance being paid at least 30 days prior to the start date of the trip.
